Katrina's Children --part 1

Recent headlines nearly stopped my heart. Images of innocent children and newborn babies separated from their mothers and families during the unorganized evacuation process. Descriptions of the mothers who themselves looked like scared children. My heart goes out to these people for all their loss and for all their strength.

This is the first of hopefully several more drawings I would like to do.
I am looking for inspiration and stock from actual news photos but any suggestions for the next drawings would be appreciated.
