Description
Healing takes time,
hope, and
some say spirit.
My mind often allows my hopes to drift away on a breeze,
or in the currents of the tide, but
if I don't loose sight...
maybe..
in time.

part of an altered book I am making.
I started with a $1 hardback from the Dollar Tree and chose specific words to leave revealed and painted over the rest.
Obviously I scanned it and did a little in PS, but I felt like sharing a little bit with you all.
I may share more as the pages unfold....I hope you enjoy, and I would love any feedback or suggestions.

I really love the concept and idea behind this... it is very thoughtful and creative! I really like how you executed this... the color scheme works well and I like how you did the reverse of both the image and the colors on the right side. I think the one side alone would have worked well, but with the reverse side added I think it gives the image more balance. The words you chose are very interesting! I think overall this image works reall well and is very well done! Great job!
